abstract For environmental protection reasons and, consequently, improving people\'s quality of life, proper waste management is crucial. According to the Waste Act, waste management primarily involves preventing or reducing waste generation, as well as recovering and disposing of waste that cannot be reused. While glass waste is not problematic (it can be reprocessed through melting), the situation is different for glass (glass fibers) obtained from wind turbine blades. The authors of this paper decided to produce polymer (epoxy) composites with an addition of post-consumer glass. The resulting composites were subjected to mechanical testing (flexural strength, impact strength, and hardness).
